The Mills County Veterans Affairs office is here to help veterans and their dependents receive the services and benefits they earned while serving our country in the military. The most basic criteria for consideration as a “war time veteran” is based upon the character of the discharge, the war period, and minimum period of active federal duty. Discharge papers are the key document needed in order to apply for all veteran services and benefits.
