Our Mission
To aggressively promote and enhance the community businesses, and quality of life in the Glenwood Area.
The Mills County Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit association that is dedicated to furthering the growth and establishment of all businesses, nonprofits, and individuals in Mills County. Here at the Chamber we serve a vital role in increasing public awareness of each of our member businesses. We also serve as the primary representative for new residents, visitors, and people in the community when seeking information or a business referral. As a voluntary organization we work to bring together businesses, nonprofits, and individuals to build the best possible Mills County. Below are some tips on how to get the most out being a member.
Staff
Jennie Davis, Executive Director
Jennie joined the Mills County Chamber of Commerce in 2022 and brings with her a diverse background in marketing & business development, which includes running her own small business, as well as helping to restructure several others. As a graduate of the Glenwood Community School District, Jennie’s commitment to, and familiarity with, our community spans over 25 years. Jennie’s background provides her with the insight needed to propel the Chamber of Commerce into its next chapter of being the leader of the Mills County Business Community. Jennie resides in Glenwood with her two sons, who have become great assistants in helping to plan & execute Chamber events.
Tana Saddler, Events & Communications Manager
Tana Saddler joined the Mills County Chamber of Commerce staff in August 2010. Her prior experience has provided her with excellent customer service skills, special event planning, networking and promotion of tourism in the Glenwood area. As the Events & Communications Mgr., she helps build relationships with a variety of individuals and businesses throughout Mills County. Assisting with public relations and marketing duties, her focus is on the needs of the membership, communicating information and opportunity to our members and residents. Saddler promotes referrals to local residents, newcomers and prospective business visitors through phone calls, letters and emails. Responding to numerous inquiries regarding area businesses, lodging, restaurants, events, human relations, and governmental concerns.
Saddler received her degree in Tourism and Hotel Management and managed AAA Travel Agency in Fort Dodge, Iowa before relocating to Milwaukee where she worked as a corporate in-house agent for Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company. She resigned from the travel industry to stay home and care for her young children. She grew up in the Fort Dodge area and when she is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband, Tim, four sons and their families.
