The Blooming Barn has a large variety of annuals, perennials, vegetable plants and hanging baskets, as well as garden art, pottery, and giftware items. My love of flowers began in high school when I would work on the weekends at Williams Nursery. Larry and Linda Williams owned the greenhouses for several years before retiring in 2012. At the time I thought it would be fun to take over their business but I had two young children and knew the time wasn’t quite right. Fast forward five years….three acres of land became available in Malvern, Iowa and I knew the time was right. My husband, Jay, and I purchased the land and greenhouses and The Blooming Barn was born. The Blooming Barn has over 6,000 square feet of greenhouse space and a small horse barn that houses a quaint little gift shop. At The Blooming Barn you will find many varieties of annuals, perennials, hanging baskets and vegetable plants along with a large variety of garden art, pottery, and giftware items. We specialize in custom potting and unique hanging baskets. The Blooming Barn is a seasonal business and will be open from the middle of April until the middle of June.
