Glenwood, Iowa – The Mills County Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce its Annual Awards Banquet, scheduled for Thursday, November 7, 2024, at The Fountains Ballroom in Glenwood, Iowa. This exciting event will bring together community leaders, business owners, and community members to celebrate the achievements and contributions of individuals and organizations that make Mills County a vibrant and thriving community.

The banquet is a highlight of the year for the Chamber, providing an opportunity to recognize outstanding individuals and groups through several awards, including:

  • Citizen of the Year
  • Junior Citizen of the Year
  • Educator of the Year (East Mills & Glenwood)
  • Customer Service of the Year
  • Community Spirit Award
  • Club/Organization of the Year

We encourage community members to submit nominations for these awards to honor the people and organizations that go above and beyond in making Mills County an incredible place to live, work, and grow. Nominations can be submitted using the button below or by contacting the Chamber directly at director@glenwoodia.com. The deadline for submissions is Friday, October 17, 2024.

Set up for this event starts at 7AM, participants start arriving at 7:30AM.

Bella Terre Vineyard will be open at 7:00 am for your vendor space set up. The $50 Vendor registration fee will include a light breakfast, lunch and afternoon mocktails!  

We have 6’ round tables available for you to use and 10 – 8’ tables (please contact us to reserve).  If you would like something different, please bring your own table and covering.

Celebrate the Season: Showcase Your Home on the Annual Holiday Home Tour!

The Holiday Home Tour is more than just an opportunity to display your holiday decorations; it’s a chance to share the spirit of the season with your friends and neighbors. Every year, homeowners in our community open their doors to visitors who are eager to experience the magic of the holidays. It’s a time-honored tradition that brings people together and fosters a sense of unity and warmth.

The Glenwood Beautification and Betterment Committee is looking for people who want to show off their homes for this event on Saturday, December 2nd from 5-8 pm. Hosts will provide some sort of snack or drink and warm hospitality to kick off the holiday season.
