Chamber Chit Chat
What does a good leader look like to you? Are they passionate? Good listener? Visionary? We each have an idea of what we think makes a good leader but how do we as individuals become leaders? Each year for the past four years the Glenwood Area Chamber of Commerce has hosted in partnership with Mills County Outreach and Extension, Leadership Mills County. This program is an eight-month commitment that hones leadership skills in current Chamber Members. It also allows them to learn the history and governance of Mills County and discover how they can become more involved in our communities. During the program participants will become knowledgeable about local concerns and resources, extend their professional network, and gain valuable project and team leadership experience through an introduction to the various aspects of developing and maintaining a vibrant community and establishing dialogue with a wide range of community leaders.
Join me in congratulating this year’s class of Leadership Mills County!
