14th Annual Square Crow Days on the Glenwood Town Square

October 15th, 2016  with Treating on the Square in Glenwood from 10-11 am, Hayrides at the Rex Theater from 10 am – Noon, Hot Dog Sale at the Bloom Senior Center from 11 am – 12:30 pm, 10:30 am Registration with Costume Contest at 11:15 am.

 

Please join us for our 4th Annual Oktoberfest at Keg Creek Brewing Company in Glenwood on Friday, September 30, 2016.  The German Heritage Society of Omaha will be tapping the official “Oktoberfest Beer” at 6 pm ~ Traditional German food will be served from 6-8 pm with a free will donation, proceeds going to the community hanging flower baskets ~ German Music.

  We have some fun & exciting plans for Glenwood during the month of October.
We are launching a
City-Wide Pink Out effort to help promote the importance
of early detection
 and yearly screenings for breast cancer.

Bring your family down to the Glenwood Public Library for Family Movie Nights on Wednesday evenings for the month of August from 6-8 pm at 109 North Vine Street in Glenwood.  Please see a list of the different movies for each date listed on our calendar.  For more information please contact 712-527-5252.

The annual golf tournament this year is “Big Hole Fiesta & Glow Ball Challenge” – tee off will be at 6:30 pm with chick-in beginning at 5:30 pm.  Dinner and Prizes will follow the tournament with the Glow Ball ending the evening.   This year’s event will continue to feature multiple sport challenges on different holes.  The cost for a foursome in the 9-hole tournament is $300 and includes dinner for four.  Dinner for non-golfers in $10.  Golf carts are available to rent for $20.  The Glow Ball Challenge in $25.  Tournament Sponsors are $250.00 – for more information please contact Troy Mohr at thmohrs94@gmail.com or Kyle Leath at kdl4nu@gmail.com.
