This is for the “Blues” portion of the day ~ sectioned off area at the park where all of the music will be.

 

 

The Park will be open with an antique tractor show and canoe rides on the lake.

DROP OFF BEHIND THE GLENWOOD CITY FIELD OFF OF VINE STREET.

ACCEPTABLE ITEMS:

Household trash; Major appliances -limit 3; lawn and household furniture; toys; bikes; clothes; lawn mowers; grills; mattresses; cement; tree branches less than 6 inches in diameter or smaller; computers, (CPU’s only-no monitors or televisions)

UNACCEPTABLE ITEMS:

Vehicles and large auto parts; paint; oil; medical waste; explosive materials; hazardous liquids/materials; animal waste; tires; televisions/computer monitors

FEE: Free to the city residents; ID will be required at time of drop off. County residents are welcome; there will be subject to a fee at time of drop off (CASH only)

The Center  opens to businesses on May 4th, 2015 and the public starting on June 1st, 2015.

Public- Cans & plastic bottles must be bagged, Glass bottles must be boxed, $0.05 for each qualifying recyclable. Each time you drop off, you will be issued a receipt stating how many bags of cans and/or plastic that they take and the number amount of bottles.  The Center will sort and count the bags and track the amount due back to the customer.

NO CASH EXCHANGE – Checks will be mailed once per month to each customer, approximately 4 weeks after drop off.

Businesses on scheduled routes: routes will be set with each business for regular pick-up.  It is pertinent that the Center has current contact information so that customers can be contacted if needed.  At pick-up you will be issued a receipt stating how many bags of cans and/or plastic that they take in and the number amount of bottles.  The Center will do all sorting and counting and track the amount due back to the customer.

Please contact the Glenwood Area Chamber of Commerce if you are interested in becoming a vendor at Spring into Summer on June 20th from 9 am to Noon.  $15 for Chamber Members and $20 for Non-Chamber Members.  This is a Family fun event with a pancake breakfast, kids games, Gary’s tumbling, live music and more.  Contact 712-527-3298 for more information.
