Our 16th Annual Women’s Health Symposium
is designed to provide current information related to various medical conditions, therapies and alternative medical practices related to the interest of women to Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses, Professional Healthcare providers and
Business Professionals.

Topics to include: Self care is not Selfish; Effects of the Sun, Heart Disease, HPV, Lung Cancer, It’s all about the Balance, Eat Well-Think Well- Brain Health and our KEYNOTE speaker~ BARBARA RUBEL presenting the FABULOUS Principle, eight pathways of self-care to counter compassion fatigue, burnout and vicarious trauma. Designed to increase self-awareness of putting character strengths into practice to improve the ability to manage compassion fatigue and enhance resilience.

Continuing Education Unit Award: Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital is an approved provider of continuing education by the Iowa Board of Nursing, provider Number 35, for RNs and LPNs. Attendees must attend the entire activity to receive contact hours.

Vendor Time: 7:30 am to 1:00pm
If you are a vendor and would also like Continuing Education Credit, the cost is $85.00 and you will need to attend the entire day.
Doors will open at 6:00 am on the day of the event for set up. Please let us know if you will be joining us for lunch. Once your business is confirmed you will receive an email with additional information as a vendor.
